>>24440no, i don't..
(hey guise quads get coming up soon, wow)
i watched the video. i followed the instructions too. like.. when i couldn't read the warning text on the embedded video i tried to full screen and had to go to the youtube link. so i did.
if anyone doesn't want it spoilered, don't read the youtube comments first.
my comment for anyone who doesn't care about spoiler:
it's a screamer. i kinda suspected that when it asked me to watch FULL SCREEN and WITH HEADPHONES and TURN THE SOUND UP! but it was promising me the ridiculous claim that i would no longer be able to pronounce by name, due to hypnotism after the video. one of the strangest things was the indistinct speech/whispering, which is somewhat reminiscent of some of my totally drug free auditory hallucinations in my occasional sleep paralysis episodes (and this was in the hypno part with the swirly spiral image thing). that makes it seem creepy to me and i was focusing on trying to understand what the ghost voice was saying before the jump scare bit, which mildly startled me but, i had already suspected due to the way it was presented. it's funny bcuz screamers were more traditionally rickroll like; promising some different kind of novelty and tricking the viewer into watching something scary. BUT this is kinda genius in its own way cuz it asks the viewer to try and allow themselves to become hypnotized by an internet video. it's a claim that's frankly absurd but encourages the viewer to willfully suspend their disbelief; just to check out the veracity of said claims. imo tho; it was set up too much for scares to be truly effective.
